Dear Liverpool

Thank you. Over the past few months, more than 1,600 residents, staff, elected members, and community groups came together to share your experiences, insights, and hopes for the future of your great city.

Through surveys, focus groups, postcards, and community-led sessions, you spoke with honesty and courage about racism in Liverpool, and about the changes you want to see in employment, education, health, housing, policing, leadership, and daily life.

Your voices have shaped the Liverpool City-Wide Anti-Racism Strategy. This will not be just a document, but a framework for real accountability, built from the ground up and centred on community priorities.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who took part. Together, we are taking the steps needed to rebuild trust, safety, and belonging through ACTION.
